It contains an integrated phase coupler for distributing the communication signals across power lines for the different phases. With the three-phase IQ Relay, no external phase coupler is required. The IQ Relay physically disconnects IQ Series Microinverters from the grid when anomalies are detected or when grid regulations require it.
